Loft conversion and partial first floor refurbishment – Twickenham

Project summary

Our customers’ semi-detached house in Twickenham already had a loft conversion, but it wasn’t maximising the spatial potential not fulfilling what the family really needed.

As the property lies within a conservation area, all external works were carefully carried out to ensure authenticity and consistency with the original materials including brickwork, leadwork and windows.

Cube stripped and rebuilt the complex loft structure internally to create greater floor space. The roof’s intricate shape was then carefully retiled and now houses exactly what our customer asked for: a wonderful new master bedroom with en-suite shower on the top floor, as well as a practical study area.

The existing first floor received a thoughtful refresh too, including the addition of a new linen cupboard on the landing, refurbishment of what was previously their master bedroom with a newly created en-suite shower room and full decoration of the children’s nursery.
