Kew – Loft conversion

“Our loft conversion project involved replacing the entire first floor ceiling. This required moving everything from the first floor down to the ground floor or into storage and living elsewhere for three months. Remarkably, we were able to move back into the house on the agreed date and the rest of the work was then completed with minimal disruption.

But it’s not that everything went exactly to plan – for example the shared chimney stack turned out to be unsupported on our side. Also, tight space on a party wall needed a change in construction of the junction and there was a mains water leak from one of the toilets. However, each time a problem arose, our expert builder, Sebastian, came up with a solution and anything that went wrong was swiftly put right.

Ultimately, the snagging and every last detail was finished to a very high standard. Our thanks go to Sebastian and to our fantastic Project Manager, Ann, for their expertise and professionalism. 10/10 for our Cube experience!”
